Lammastide
Lammas Day or loaf-mass is the first harvest festival of the year and marks the annual wheat harvest. It is traditional to bring a loaf of bread made from the first crop to church on this day to be blessed. Lammastide falls at the halfway point between the summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox and is one of the traditional Scottish quarter days.Morning Prayer:
