Jerusalem and the Holy Land Sunday: In 2013, the General Synod designated today as "Jerusalem and the Holy Land Sunday" in solidarity with the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. Further liturgical information may be found online on the Anglican Church of Canada website at www.anglican.ca/jerusalem-sunday. If today is kept as Ascension Sunday then Jerusalem and the Holy Land Sunday may be observed by special intentions in the prayers of the people.
Office Note: If Ascension is also observed on Thursday then the office readings for Seventh Sunday of Easter may be used.
