Emancipation Sunday is an opportunity to lift up and celebrate the experiences, voices, history and leadership of Black Anglicans in Canada. Newly developed liturgical resources are available to support Anglicans in marking well the last Sunday in July, formally designated by the General Synod in 2025 as Emancipation Sunday.
